CRL-605 FMCW 80GHz radar level meter is a high-precision non-contact water level measurement device. It adopts Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology high frequency band and small beam angle. It emits 80GHz high-frequency radar signals to the water surface through an antenna. After the signals reach the water surface, they are reflected back to the antenna. The device accurately calculates the water level height based on the time difference and frequency difference between signal transmission and reception, combined with the propagation speed of radar waves. Subsequently, it converts the data into 4-20mA or RS485 standard signals for output, facilitating connection with monitoring systems.​ The measurement accuracy can reach ±1mm, and it can effectively avoid interference from water vapor, dust, and floating objects, adapting to complex outdoor environments such as heavy rain, strong winds, and high temperatures. CRL-605 FMCW 80GHz radar level meter has no mechanical moving parts, resulting in low wear rate and a service life normally of 8-10 years. Additionally, it is easy to install and does not require direct contact with water, thus avoiding problems of water corrosion and sediment blockage.

Application

For river water level monitoring: It can be installed on river dikes and hydrological monitoring stations to collect real-time water level data, providing support for flood prevention and early warning.​
For reservoir and lake water level monitoring: It facilitates water resource scheduling.​
